What has been a stable offering of care centers in several northern California communities - including Sacramento, Stockton, Grass Valley, Santa Cruz, Woodland and San Mateo County - has grown and expanded in recent times. In calendar year 2011, we opened three new care centers in three new communities: Merced, San Francisco and Ventura County.

 

We have also grown in expertise and services, adding new specialties to many of our care centers such as Cardiology at Sierra Nevada Medical Group, Cardiac Surgery at both Mercy Medical Group and Sequoia Medical Group, and Urology at St. Joseph's Medical Group of Stockton.

 

While we grow in size and scope, our commitment to excellent patient care, exceptional customer service, exciting medical research, and staff and patient education remains steadfast. CHWMF's care centers offer various low or no-cost education opportunities related to nutrition, women's health, heart care and other topics. We collaborate with the CHW hospitals to allow our patients access to more than 1,000 clinical trials across our system that would be appropriate for, and applicable to, our patients.

 

When we invest in clinical systems, new equipment, new clinic offices and additional services, our goal is always to further improve the care and service we provide to our patients.
